Herma Boyle was for a number of years head of photography in the Audio Visual Centre in UCD, this involved a comprehensive photographic service to other University Departments, including image restoration, detailed scientific studies and aerial photography. She also organised and taught photographic courses to undergraduates and staff members.

This wide experience within the University atmosphere has enabled her to develop a very high technical and creative approach to her profession, which is over and above the normal commercial ethos.

She is now a freelance photographer specialising in architectural, nature and landscape photography and occasionally takes on weddings and portraits. She loves her garden and many of her flower photographs are taken there.

She coaches people with a special interest in photography.

Her images are for sale as cards or framed prints.
